| The True Tracker unit
itself is about 4 inches deep and just smaller than a letter-sized
paper. It comes enclosed in a NEMA 3 enclosure with rubber gasket and 4
screws to keep it tightly sealed from the elements. The motherboard has
an extra weather coating and is salt- spray tested to help protect it
from moisture as well. Electricians who opt to mount it directly to the
sub-panel with chase nipples, also opt to seal the mounting with weather
proof silicone.
World class engineering and product design went
into the True Tracker every step of the way to ensure reliability.
Relays, sensors, sim cards, transformers, back-up batteries and
motherboards are connected separately in the box, in a smart and
accessible layout, for easy upgrade-ability and maintenance. We've also
built in a portal to ad updates to the programming of the motherboard
for future use.
For billboards, each True
Tracker unit can handle up to 4 panels on either a 120v and a 240v
system. No telephone line is necessary, the signal is sent digitally
and wirelessly. There is a small monthly monitoring fee to cover your
messages and web access.
For generators, installation can vary by
generator. Usually the units are mounted near the automatic transfer
switch indoors. We also have a special sensor that links directly to
your sump -pump well that alerts you to increasing water levels. The
Tracker for generators can detect if your generator is exercising for
that added protection when you are away from home. Recently the unit has
been upgraded to be wireless.
